Michael Moore

It's a common sense that the press should be free from any organization and should only tell the truth without any influence from outside. However, in schools, student newspapers are getting interference from the teachers, even in KMLA, which the goal of school is to develop future leaders.

In the article, Michael Moore is saying that students should make their own newspaper without the interference from teachers. I agree to Moore's idea because students are capable enough to express their own expressions without any interfere from adults. For example, few years ago, two students in New Zealand won a suit against a medical company by insisting that the companies health product didn't have any vitamins in it which the company advertised that it had it. Therefore, this incident shows that students are capable to express their emotion and has the ability to criticize adults logically.

Possible motions

1. THB there should be regulation for student's political acts
2. THB teenagers have the right to vote
3. THB students should be differentiated in laws to adults

  1. Pretty good start to this post, but it needs to be fleshed out more. A bit brief, and if you talk about these two kids in NZ, you might as well provide a link or even a video. Reference the article more. I agree with your views and you make good points, just need more leaves on the branches.
